of Service & Abuse Clause
Please read this information carefully, as it
applies to all Soundwave Music events.
|We try to treat all
clients with the utmost respect, and ask
that our clients and their wedding party,
family and guests do the same.
Sadly, sometimes, someone goes out of
their way to be verbally or physically
abusive to wedding professionals.
At no time and under no circumstances
whatsoever shall we tolerate abusive,
insulting, violent, destructive,
menacing, or harassing behavior from the
client, a guest, or any party acting on
behalf of the client.
If such behavior does occur, we will
attempt to inform the client and/or
members to handle the situation.
However, if the abusive behavior does not
stop, we will consider it a breach of
contract, and remove ourselves from the
premises immediately without providing
any further services, and all remaining
fees will be due immediately and on the
spot, regardless of further contracted
services not provided, and without any
refund of monies paid.
To be clear, in the event that an abusive
situation arises, be that from the direct
contract holder, a bridesmaid, mother,
intoxicated guest, etc., we reserve the
right to "not put up with it"
and leave the event, should the situation
not be dealt with in an acceptable manor
for all involved.
In the event that the service provider
does leave a function due to harassment,
abuse, or insulting behavior, any public
postings of negative comments will be
seen as slanderous, and may result in a
suit against the client for defamation of
character, and loss of potential future
revenue for the service provider.
While we welcome and encourage client
reviews based on service provided,
derogatory comments and postings made
based on this type of situation are
usually very one sided, and are very
In the case of a "deposit" or
"pre paid balance" paid forth
these are a non-refundable retainer
(unless otherwise stated) this payment

If this contract is breached before the
actual event date, your retainer fee or
payment will not be returned, namely on
the principle that the vendor has likely
already turned away other clients seeking
services, but also because of the time
now spent on emails, phone calls and/or
consultations with clients, and time
spent on special music programming and
preperation for the event.
In the case of the event date itself, if
a vendor has provided services, or has
traveled out to the event site, and left
because an abusive or unreasonable
situation arose, all remaining fees are
immediately due, regardless of any
remaining contracted services that are
In the case where pricing discounts have
been given in good faith, and the
provider is forced to leave because of an
abusive situation, we reserve the right
to demand full payment for the contracted
services based on our current posted
